Why less screen is more fun and how to have unplugged childhoods
This could be one of the important & necessary articles I am gonna write in this era, I guess.
“Screen time” refers to the time spent watching TV, playing a video game, holding an iPad or tablet, or being on the computer. Activities spent away from a screen will help with creative and physical development. Here is an article posted by The Hindu on this topic.
With the easy exposure of electricity & the internet, children are drawn to this like never before.
To some extent, for educational purposes, it’s not harmful; however, beyond a certain limit, it can cause more harm than good.
Recreational activities such as playing outside help kids build strong bones and live a healthier life. The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends no screen time for children under 2 and less than two hours per day for older children.
